La Busceada

Folk often tell me I live upstairs in my head, and I guess this is true. I'm always searching for something: melodies, harmonies, rhythms, ideas and so on. 'La Busceada' became this story with a relentless searching theme uncovering many surprises on the way. I wrote the piece back in 2010 and for some reason a cutting darkness crept in ending with a cry for help through the morse-code rhythmic motif. Prophetic maybe. More recently, with the globe sinking into a new dystopian world order being led by a cabal of corporate elites tweeking governments into line and prescribing dictated truths, perhaps it was prophetic after all...I hear many say 'god help us.'
